Great place if you love trains!!!

Terrific docents and fun for the entire family. Great trains and a fun ride. The ride is on the property, but nonetheless it is more than worthwhile.

We loving riding on the historical trains and the lovely museum. Not to go without mentioning rolling down the grass hill! The museum store has always been filled with great items and everyone is friendly and informative.

Very well put together. Very informative. A must for train enthusiasts. Occasionally have a little train running for short rides around the train yard. Some very unique train cars.

A small railway museum. Number of exhibits is small. But well presented. Well supported by volunteers. Unfortunately no trains were running when we visited. But were made warmly welcome and personally shown round by a volunteer. Small shop and low admittance charge.

We actually went there for a memorial service for one of the volunteers. I would never have put this on my map of places to visit but it turned out to be fascinating. Very inexpensive to tour the museum and you actually get to go in and sit in some of these beauties.

We found that this is just perfect size for family visit, it's not too big of a museum but has most of all of the trains and even a train ride too. Ample parking with little snack stand. And it's easy to find.

The museum is great for those who want to learn about the making of the railroads. My brother is a train fanatic and loved the museum. It's small but they've done a great job with their dis[plays and the entrance fee is a mere $6. Great for family and kids and those train buffs.

The volunteers were very helpful knowledge of history of the railroad in this area of Nevada. Going aboard the various exhibits and taking a ride on the train is so much better then just looking. Enjoyable time with family.

This museum packs some punch on what they have. I give them credit for always improving it, with their staff and volunteers giving all they can. The museum is worth a visit and one can learn much on not only railroads but what went on around them. You can also take a ride around the complex on one of the... More
