Was at the Golden Spike and friend took me to this park. Couldn't believe the size of the steam train there and the other cars there and the Depot

Cody park is known for the ice cream in the summer. Public pool is right there. Right on the lake to tube and kayak. Nice drive around the park for some good animals, elk is my fav.

I visited the park to see the trains but there was much more to do. There were live animals and kiddie rides (not operation) as well as camping. This is a beautiful, relaxing spot!

Nice atmosphere in this large park w/lake, small zoo (elk, deer, bison, peacock & geese)...numerous picnic sites w/fireplaces, views of river, plus campsites. Great for 'family travel break' ;-)
