The walk from the car park follows the river but it cuts across the road and back again. It's not a busy road so it's not a problem but just not as good a walk, or as spectacular, as Plodda Falls. It was difficult to...More

Drove up to Dog Falls and parked car and went for walk to see Falls. Disappointing as the Falls are more like rapids and also the viewpoint not great for taking photos due to placing of wooden fence but the area is small and narrow...More

We visited Dog Falls after visiting nearby Tomich to see the Golden Retriever statue with our own Golden Retriever. We parked on the side of the road opposite the entrance to Dog Falls as it was thick with snow that parking would have been impossible,...More

The circular walk from Dog Falls and up and round the small Loch is really nice, and not too taxing. Beautiful in the winter sun/snow.

We have been here in the summer many years ago and in October this time. It is such a stunning area and worth a visit.

Took the long walk around the loch. Scenery here was great and so glad we took this route instead of heading directly for the falls. Although they sounded Good, there was no clear, direct sight lone for photo opportunity

Getting here is an interesting trip - and my top tip would be if you are driving south on the A835, don't take the 1st single track road at Cannich, wait until you see a brown sign for Dog Falls! Once you do get there,...More

After a slightly scary drive on a one lane road with considerable traffic, you arrive at a car park. There are several trails to hike and we opted for the short falls hike. Easy hike and spectacular falls. It was late or we would have...More

Dog falls is the first stopping place in Glen Affric where there is parking and toilets and a picnic area. It's just a beautiful spot with walks all around. Another hidden gem.
