We rented a cottage for a week nearby and visited this waterfall on our first day, there is a car park next to the waterfall and if you follow the signs you come across the path down which can be a tricky scramble. If you...More

It is definitely worth persevering the long single track road to go to see these stunning falls. There were quite a few pot holes on the track when we went there, so take care when driving. We were advised that the road was actually due...More

I live an hour away and had no idea this place existed until a few months ago! A very tall waterfall with viewpoints and walks ranging from straight to the waterfall itself or a 20 min or 45 min walk. I took my 11 and...More

Worth visiting, absolutely beautiful scenery. Whole family enjoyed walking along the longer trail which with few stops on the way took us around 1.5 hours.

Probably one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Scotland, with a great viewing platform at the top looking straight down!...and a patch at the bottom looking up. It was below zero when we went and the icicles and frozen spray was were amazing.

This was my favourite part of a two week vacation in Scotland. Having travelled a lot of the big ticket tourist items, I was excited to explore the seclusion of Plodda Falls. The drive there was a little scary, as it was snowing and the...More

Stopped off here for an hour or two during my October 2017 Scotland trip. A fair few tourists/hikers out and about, but not exactly crowded! Met a couple of top guys who gave me some photography tips about capturing the waterfall (I was armed with...More

A stunning example of natural beauty and power. It's a fair trek up the road which is pretty torn up with pot holes all over it. But it is most definitely worth the drive. The view is absolutely stunning and is quite possibly the most...More
