Beautiful mosaic ceilings and floors, paintings and sculptures inside the 400-foot high capitol building are as impressive as its marble, bronze and gold leaf exterior and white tower topped by a bronze statue. Free guided tours are available.

The Nebraska State Capitol is full of very interesting facts and history. Everyone should visit it at least once preferably more than once to get the full effect of the building.

This old building full of marble and granite is a charmer. Go to the top floor and look out at the City of Lincoln. Neat gift shop, too.

Very interesting architecture, mural and painting. Guided tour was good. Tour guide was very knowledgeable about the Capitol building. Observation was closed due to the weather but the dome and murals surrounding dome were awesome. Very peaceful.

Took my family here. Very interesting to see the history of our state. While there, got to meet the Governor and Attorney General. Saw lots of Senators but was unable to speak with them.
