Sunken Gardens are always a delight. There's always something from Spring to Fall that's just arriving at its peak or you can plan another visit just in time to catch it bursting out.

The Sunken Garden is a must see if you are visiting Lincoln when the plants are in bloom! I must say this area caught me by surprise as you would literally drive right by if you're not familiar with the area! It is a hidden gem for Lincoln. I've been to Lincoln twice more since this picture was taken, and... More

The sunken gardens are very lovely in the spring, summer and fall. In the winter it is lite up like a fairy Christmas village.

I love this place, especially early in the morning and on summer evenings. A great combination of annuals, perennials and hardscaping. Pretty park, restful, beautifully landscaped, and all in the middle of one of the busiest intersections in town.

I love the Sunken Gardens in summer and fall because the plants are at their finest. Nothing to look at in winter or early spring though.

This garden is a true treasure that should be viewed several times throughout the year. Each year the plantings vary and are spectacular by the middle of the season.
