The museum has about 100 vehicles including helicopters, tanks, halftracks, ambulances, and a jeep from every branch of the service plus displays of weapons, uniforms, engines, equipment, and more. The everyday necessities of a soldier's life, such as MREs, blend with unique vehicles like those used by the German army in World War II.

We visit here every year with my students as a field trip, always very friendly as a host, nice museum, a few things for the kids to even get on (both inside and out). Nice little gift shop and I always seem to find something new to read or see.

A pleasant and unexpected find driving down the highway. I've been to several types of museums like this but this one had some vehicles that I had never seen before. Very comfortable and low pressure. Very friendly people here. Definitely worth your time.

Took my dad who is 92 to this museum and he was totally impressed. He was in WWII and remembered a lot of the items he saw, also had some stories to go along with it. Would recommend this to anyone who has served or is interested in military item or history.

We stopped to stretch our legs after seeing the vehicles lined up along the highway. Going inside (for free, they just ask for a small donation), we were amazing at the sheer number and configurations of jeeps and trucks inside. Additionally being able to climb into the huey and the fighting vehicle inside was a high point for everyone up... More

This is a must stop. Their are several vehicles both inside and out. It is free to visit and they only ask for donations. Lots of historical military items from firearms, and uniforms, to tanks, and helicopters. They allow you to get in a tank and a helicopter for pictures. A wonderful stop, that I would recommend to everyone interested... More

Stopped off to break up the long trek between Lincoln and Denver. Wow, were we impressed! Right from the highway you can see a dozen or so military vehicles. Inside there are easily 100 more, plus displays of military weapons, uniforms, and items carried by personnel. We spent an hour there

We planned our drive with time to make a couple of stops and see what what along the way. Saw the sign and stopped off expecting to stay for a few minutes. We were pleasantly surprised at the extensive collection of very cool vehicles. The staff was great, the exhibits very informative, and it was neat to climb through a... More

A really nice collection of military vehicles and support items. Also has a nice indoor bird viewing area over looking the pond out back. A great spot on the spring and fall migration route. Something for every one.

Thank Tom F
