We spend our last day and night in Mondello. The weather was rather windy but we strolled around the beach... The water was lovely actually. I believe there are a lot of people around in the summer time. Nice beach really close to Palermo.

Beautiful beach, I keep a picture on my screen lock to remind me that I want to go back! I just love that place.

This is a lovely sandy beach which is not too crowded. Although there isn't a TA "attraction" spot for it, it's also worth walking up to the west end of the beach in what is presumably "old Mondello" with dozens of fishing boats around the...More

It's one of my favourite beaches in Italy. The sand is great and the bay is really nice. The beach is not to wide, but after the season when the houses are gone, it's perfect for sunbathing.

All beach have private fences. Fences begin from the edge of the sea. The ring left no space to sunbathe. All beach private area. People put towels in small corridors between private clubs. We love the sea.

Beautiful transparent water. I have never seen such a beautiful water, but quite crowded/ commercial beach. There are laying chairs everywhere and you have to pay to enter to many parts of the beach. It is about 30 min bus ride from Palermo. It is...More

It was great to see all the Palermo families enjoying their beach huts (hundreds of them), but combined with the private areas they left very little public space on the beach, which was covered in cigarette butts. Best to go for a swim and then...More
