The fantastic staff takes great care of these amazing animals. Well worth one or several visits to support their work and have a look at the bears. Just remember not to be too loud and show respect to the bears, you never know what they been thourgh before they got rescued.

Wonderful day

Really enjoyed visiting the sanctuary. Its great for all ages. There is a forest walk where they have beautiful natural artwork from nature and facts about the bears. Children will love the playground and the activities in the forest (as well as the adults!) It was also fun spotting the bears. When we arrived in the morning we only saw the one, so we decided to walk around the forest again and as we did we saw another sleepy bear. As midday came we saw several other bears. It was lovely to watch them just being natural. They looked really happy and they looked like they were looked after. We enjoyed watching them playing together, swimming in the pools, eating their food etc.. The area is really well designed so there are plenty of points you can sit and enjoying seeing the bears and plenty of photo opportunities. This is a bear sanctuary not a zoo or wildlife park so the bears are free to roam and are not on show or made to perform, they can just "be". There was lots of fun activities for the bears in the woods, they have really made a lovely home for them. The food also looked nice, watermelon, fish etc.. Really a great place for all ages. Dogs are also welcome and have places they can get a drink and also there are activities for the dogs too.

Really Nice

Small, there is only 8 bears but they have big space and so many informations everywhere about bears. It's a park of the association "four paws" which rescue animals . Those bears were rescues from circus or place where they were forced to "dance" and really badly treat. They look now well , they play and cuddle , it's really impressive to see them

Perfect for kids

This place is perfect - you can help the project of Four Paws and explain your kids that animals do not belong to circus but to the nature. The bears in the forest are rehabilitated from horrible conditions. I am sure you will like it :)
