We enjoyed a nice afternoon walking through the grounds of the Fort. Most of the buildings had descriptions which made for an adequate self guided tour of the facility.

Stayed in the lodge at Ft. Robinson. No TV, no telephone, no wifi, it was great! If you are looking for a getaway from all the fast paced living, try spending a few quite, relaxing days here. Have water activities, horse back riding, bicycling, just...More

We stayed here in June to celebrate a birthday with family from all over the country. The trip was awesome, the weather was great and the accommodations were clean and comfy. The on-site restaurant was good, and the portion size was massive, so order with...More

We stayed here for our family reunion. The park was great- we rented on of the houses and some camped (nice and quiet camp sites as well) everything on that end was fine. The campsite bathrooms could definitely use some upgrades. Nice biking and hiking...More

This is a very good and rich historical stop in Nebraska, since this was the site of the 1879 Cheyenne Outbreak and the death of famed Sioux Chief Crazy Horse. Western Nebraska's premier state park, Fort Robinson, west of Crawford has more than 22,000 acres...More

We only had a couple of hours to spend at the park, wish we had more time, but we did get in a nice tour and walk-thrus of both museums. So much history to learn about at this site.

Let me start by saying that I am hopelessly biased in favor of Fort Robinson because my family has been hosting family reunions there since before I was born. That said, I still think it is an excellent place to visit and stay. If you're...More

You cannot drive through the area where you would get good photos of wildlife and landscapes. We did the 50 minute jeep ride and got photos of big horn sheep, antelope, flowers, and the beautiful view from the top. The jeep... More

We didn't spend the night and didn't have time to tour the cabins but I think they have everything. I want to go back and stay in the officer's quarters.

I stayed in 16A just last month. I took photos of 15A three years ago. Fort Robinson can email you the floor plans of all their cabins if you ask them. One place to get an overview of Fort Robinson is to go on.
