We have visited times. Enjoyed every one of them. Found a stone which finished at 1.5 carats. Valued at $1500.

We found a ton of sapphires! And they walked us through the process of having them treated and cut if we chose to do so. We loved this place so much, and we will be back. A great family activity.

So much fun! Staff is so helpful both during the mining and the evaluation. You will find sapphires. No question. If you are not able, ask the staff to help you. Don't forget to tip the staff.

purchased 3 small buckets and got 8 sapphires to facet(cut). It is a amazing experience if you like jewelry. I send my gems to Mike Maki in Helena to make rings, pendants, earrings, and bracelets for us.

I went to the mine itself and enjoyed that very much. I went into the store downtown, but did not go to the 'mining' area. If I were short on time and did not want to change my schedule, I would not be afraid to only do... More
