Another good brewery in Missoula

We have family in Missoula and I liked to check out the breweries. My first time here and I will be back when I come back to Montana.

Excellently brewed beers, pilsners, lagers etc. Not the quickly brewed ales of most local breweries. Outstanding German food served. Can't wait to go back.

All of their beer is outstanding! We had a great bartender and really enjoyed the atmosphere. My wife and I both liked Dragon's Breath so that got us wanting to try more and we are glad we did. This is a must stop in Missoula!

I love there no nonsense German style beers. Never had a chance to try their food. Everytime I've been here they have been really great.

Stopped in here to check it out and we were both very pleased with the beer and the food. A German style brewery with German style foods. I tried a flight of five beers for $6 and all were excellent. We had a ham sandwich on a german pretzel role with some cucumber salad, which were both very good. They... More

We stopped on our way through town for a late lunch. So glad we stopped! While this brewery is in an industrial part of town (providing a view of the storage units from the outside second floor balcony seating), the food and beer make up for it. We had a flight and each of us tried a different dish. We... More

I ordered the Schnitzel sandwich and fries with a pilsner beer. The ambiance is great on the second floor. The sandwich was ok and the fries were very good. I was disappointed as I had in mind that it was going to be as good a schnitzel sandwich in Germany. The meat was a little dry. I hope there will... More

We were looking forward to trying the Bistro. A friendly wait person greeted us immediately and took our beer order after explaining the various brews. Our food order was also taken promptly and we were served our meals in a timely fashion. I was disappointed in the food because I had expected (perhaps over optimistically) hot, German food such as... More

A small brewery with different options, also seasonal beers. The classic Pilsen as "Pilsener" is a symbol of quality.

Management wasn't ready for last Tuesdays nights dinner crowd. We say an article about a new German restaurant above the Bayern Brewery, tried it- they ran out of potato salad and cucumber salad, that left only one choice, fries, but since our order had both of those sides, the orders didn't get processed, 45 minutes later we asked about our...
