This is a local fixture that along the Missouri River bank through the entire town, out to Giant Springs Park, the home of the world's shortest river. It is full of opportunities to see the place where electric power changed a city in

This is a great view of the river. Often you can see pelicans on the island. There are pullouts where you can stop for photos. I usually make an excuse to drive this road when I’m in town.

Great trail system. Miles of paved and single track. Be sure to check out the trails on the north side of the river too.

My pooch and I have walked/cycled the 10+miles of the pathway over the years, in every season and always enjoyed the scenery and flora and fauna.

This is a beautiful area. The river is so calming and it is an excellent place to refresh and recharge.

Regardless of the ongoing publicity surrounding this trail, most of the time it is not really crowded. Especially this year, with the smoke and heat, many have probably opted out of extensive time on the trail. Some nice historic views. I still miss the view...More

Wonderful way to spend an evening. Refreshing breezes off the river, with ducks peacefully feeding. The walk leading to a beautiful misty waterfall

Bring you camera and some water. This walk/bike trail is beautiful but in August pretty hot, We used sunscreen and drank plenty of water, The trail goes on in both directions for many miles.
