Owned by members of the Blackfeet tribe, the folks could not have been nicer. The trip was not directly into the park but was on the adjoining land. It was very scenic with good photo ops. But the best part of the ride was an...More
Had a great ride with Mouse, Bill, and Sydney of Glacier Gateway Outfitters. Super views, kind horses, and experienced guides. Horses are well cared for and know their jobs. Staff are very nice. Our group had ages 70 to 8 and everyone had a superb...More
This ride up to the edge of Glacier National Park's jagged peaks was the best introduction to the East Glacier area. Our guide made it special with stories of ranching and introduction to Blackfeet history. The elevation gain and views were exceptional and the horses...More

Thank you for your comments, happy you enjoyed your ride.
There were so many things to love about our ride with Jimmy, Myron and the dog who accompanied us on the trail (he seems to supervise everyone/everthing at Glacier Gateway Outfitters). Expansive views, well trained horses, and enjoyable riding through open meadows and creeks that...More

This is a great activity to do as a break from hiking at Glacier. The guides were great and the trail was all on blackfeet reservation. There are other horseback riding companies in the area but we chose Glacier Gateway because you really do feel...More

Guides Sierra and Jimmy were professional, knowledgable, and fun with our novice family. The horses were well trained and very familiar with the trail which made us feel comfortable riding them. On the way up to Mt. Henry, the horses smelled a bear ahead on...More

I had been in two minds as to whether to go for a ride whilst visiting Glacier, fearing that it would just be a nose to tail trudge along a muddy track. Maybe that is what it's like in the Park, but gosh I'm glad...More

We are in walking distance through out East Glacier. Just walk along hiway 49 to the stables on the east side of 49. just across from the East Glacier Lodge and next to the AmTrack Station. Horses leave from that location.
