The museum was very nice! Good video of big paw battlegrounds. Good dinosaur display in cars no large models. Good explanation of fossils as well as other aspects of that period. Good collection of western memorabilia.

Go here and see film before heading out to Bear Paw battlefield. Well done. Park ranger was excellent, very knowledgeable and he had only been on the job 4 months!

We stopped here on our way to the Bear Paw Battlefield since the interim visitor center is located here. The museum itself is a hidden treasure. It has many exhibits from when this area was first settled with homesteaders and gives a good feel for...More

You have to see this museum once in your lifetime if you get the chance. It's really remarkable what they have done with a small museum.

This museum was free and there was a great movie "Battle of BearPaw Battlefield - Nez Perce Park". We learned so much about Chief Joseph, which helped us in the rest of our travels. The displays were very well done, especially the tar paper house.
