Nice people with good info about grizzlies. However, make sure to have good footwear as the location is very muddy.

This is a must see spot on your way to or from Yellowstone. These folks care about bears and know their stuff. Respect and understanding of these marvelous creatures is the overall the a way from our visit.

Low cost and great cause! I loved watching Bella and Brutus! The workers had great info and the enclosure was awesome! The bears were incredible! I could have watched for hours!

May 1st we will be starting our Spring Hours 10am - 6pm daily, weather permitting.

Joshua, I am a volunteer at the Grizzly Encounter and we strive to make everyone feel comfortable and welcome at the Grizzly Encounter. We are sorry you had an unfortunate experience. We also strive to be very kid friendly, and welcome school groups at no charge. We do hope you will reconsider and visit us again. Christine
