This attraction is right by the airport along Route/Highway 3. From the airport, Zimmerman Trail is on your left, which you have to pass. You will see a sign that says "Historic Point". Turn left into its parking lot. That is Zimmerman Park which has...More

The Rimrocks is really the side of a mountain on the edge of town. We drove the road up to see the view of Billings. Would have been much better at night. Many locals go up there to party. It was a quick stop.

Beautiful place to visit, take a run along, etc. Be sure to drive around on the roads and see both above and below the rim rocks.

I went with my granddaughter and we were expecting a huge great view of the entire city, which we got... but that was it. But a very cute friendly town

I enjoy walking on the rims it's peaceful, when the seasons are changing and you look over the city it's beautiful. The path is paved you can ride a bike skateboard rollerblade

This is free and a must do with great views and trails. You can drive if you don't want to get out of your car and still see the views.

A wonderful hike uphill for views of the Billings area through exposed cliffs. Yellowstone Kelly's gravesite is being upgraded and we were unable to view it.

Go to the lookout point, wait for dark, and enjoy a marvelous view of the city from the rimrocks. We climbed down a small trail and enjoyed some quality family time just relaxing and enjoying the views of the Montana skies.

The road is nice but the views are along the asphalt walkway. There are lots of walkers so it is pretty safe in the late afternoon and if you get lucky there will be a great sunset.

You drive to a parking lot and then walk. You are already at the top. It's not a hike up to the top

If you put Billings Logan Airport in your navigation system, that should get you there. Access to the Rimrock trail is just east of the airport.
