This park has a number of very nice trails that accommodate all levels of hikers. There is also a nice overlook that you can drive to as well as camp sites.

We stayed 3 nights at this Missouri State Park, Host was great, It was mid October and the weather was perfect. Most spaces are level and wooded. Only electric at the sites. All Missouri state parks seem to have coin laundries, which is fantastic if you are a full-timer. There are several things to see nearby, distillery, winery and a... More

We spent about an hour driving and walking through the Park. It was a beautiful day, the walking trails were busy but you could still enjoy the escape from the city. The views were stunning, especially at the river bend look out platform. we drove through the campground, a little crowded for our taste but for most it would be... More

Visited the park in early November. Hiked several of the trails. All were well marked with clear explanations of difficulty and obstacles. Overall the park was one of the best maintained parks I have been to.

Stayed here for Irish Fest at O'Mallets Pub. Spots are mostly paved with lots of trees. The terrain is hilly and rolling.

Visited on a Sunday afternoon. Nice park but not that much to do in my opinion. We checked out the overlook and it was pretty, very short walk. We also did a nice short hike through the woods. The two trails along the river were very short, less than half a mile each and both led to the river. One... More

Went to the park on a summer afternoon. It was quite and mostly shaded walk. It has a few different options for a stroll and allows dogs. Did not catch the trail we went on but it was paved and connected with multiple dirt trails and had a few other interesting spots that would have lead off road but was... More

We made it an all afternoon event! Went on a Friday afternoon so it wasn't busy at all. We loved exploring the trails and the tobacco barn was GORGEOUS. We brought our bikes and hit the bicycle paved trail. The first signs of fall were present as the trail was pretty covered with leaves, but I'm guessing they would be... More
