There's not much for the visitor in Sedalia, so any distraction is a good distraction. The people at the Depot are nice. Go by and say hello.

This is an old railroad station that has been nicely restored with a museum & gift shop. The grounds have a caboose & an interesting piano for photos. There is also a caboose prop for photos for both entering & leaving Sedalia.

Neat little museum with lots of interesting history about Sedalia. Not being from there, I didn't know much about it. The building is the old train depot which is cool. The lady at the desk was very helpful and friendly.

Nice little museum within old depot restored to original glory. Vast empty tracts around it, formerly filled with tracks, trains and shops. Once a RR center, Sedalia declined with the RR, so this depot is in an awkward part of town. Visit in daytime only.

This as a great depot restoration on the famous Katy Trail. It really must look like it did in the hey days of the railroads. Highly recommend.
