Perfect stop during a military graduation visit!

After my daughter's graduation, my husband insisted on taking pictures of her at this park. It was freezing outside, however it was totally worth it.

Always awesome to see towns representing the military. More towns should consider doing this even though they may not have a base near by.

Pretty cool if you're new to the military or just visiting. The location of this is a bit weird - on the access road near Walmart. There are some large rocks located near this tank also that have military units painted on them. It's a cool photo op.

Basically this is just an M-60 tank on the side of an access road. There are numerous rocks on the same spot painted with the varoious Army groups stationed at nearby Fort Leonard Wood.If you have a graduating soldier it makes a nice photo spot. There are many restaurants located just across the street. So if you are there for... More

Be sure to bring your camera. Lots of photo opportunities. WE had a great time reading about each of the tanks and learning a little about them.

This M60 track is a well preserved example of its kind. With a small readable snippet about Fort Leonard Wood Army Reservation, and its history, it's a quick little stop or even have a picnic or snack at the available benches.

Decent Decent photo op I suppose. Just the tank as you see in the sample photo. Easily accessible on the frontage road across from the Walmart near all of the hotels. I would probably suggest parking on the west side of the Walmart parking lot and walking across, but bewars that traffic on the frontage road can be heavy, and... More

Simple memorial easily viewed from I-44 in St. Roberts but if you want to take pictures exit the Interstate and take the north outer belt road and park in the Wendy's parking lot directly across the street from the memorial.
