The Fabulous Fox Theatre first opened in 1929 as a movie palace in William Fox's motion picture empire. The theatre was reopened in 1982, and today it is one of the most exquisite venues in the country to enjoy live touring Broadway shows, concerts, and comedians. We hope you'll visit us for an upcoming show or one of our guided tours!

We love coming to the Fox Theatre to see a show, especially around Christmas time. The less expensive seats are under the balcony on the first floor and are really awesome seats for the low price (as low at $25 a performance). We do make...More

I really enjoy the world class talent at the fox theatre. During the holidays especially, the beautiful breathtaking handcarved woodwork and high ceilings are remarkable. There are nice restrooms and snacks at the bar for the whole family.

This theater is very ornate, almost garish, but absolutely worth a visit. Our seat was near the back of the orchestra level and we could see well, thanks to the slant of the floor. Sound was excellent as well. Everything there is ornately carved it...More

The Fox Theater could be labeled a one of a kind, except there is an identical one in Detroit. Both have been restored to their glory so either one will take you to the glory days of movie theaters. Start with the lobby and you...More

I think if someone is over 300 pounds, they would be uncomfortable. However, there are areas in the balcony seated at tables and other special seating available that might be a bit more comfortable.
