Not a great neighborhood and parking feels unsure, but we really wanted to see this shrine. All the doors were locked so we went around and rang the bell at the rectory and boy were we glad we did! The ladies in the office were happy to have guests and to show us around and tell us about the history... More

A group of us attended Palm Sunday Mass. Following the Mass, we went on the docent-led tour. We had about 20 in our group. The docent was fabulous; very knowledgeable. The church is amazing. We were also able to see the rectory next door.

Definitely recommend you visit. It is a beautiful Catholic Church and Shrine. It's not in the best neighborhood, and parking is on the street - FYI. The art and decor is incredible.

We came to the shrine on a wim to view this beautiful church. The church inside and out was very spectacular to view. The altar was very spectacular. If you're in the area of the church it is well worth to stop in and see it.

So lovely. This beautiful church is a destination. It is the site of miracles, very special. Hopefully you can go when volunteers are there to give you extra information. The side altars and shrines are very pretty. Call ahead to guarantee access.

The interior of this historic church is wonderful. Everything looks like its made from marble, but its actually faux-painted wood. Amazing. They have a great tour available after Mass.

I attended a beautiful wedding here a few years ago. Parking was a bit tight, but it was lovely and it is one of the more memorable weddings to which I have gone. Plus, the two are still wedded and now with 6 children (It has been 15years since the wedding)!

The wedding was held in the Shrine. The inside has been meticulously restored. It was quite a hot day outside yet it remained cool indoors.

The Shrine of St. Joseph features a beautiful interior. I enjoy photographing places of worship and the Shrine did not disappoint. I was permitted to use a tripod. When I entered the church, a tour was underway. Apparently, free tours are offered. I easily found free street parking within a block of the church. If you enjoy visiting churches, I... More

We decided to be tourists in our own town and went to mass at the Shrine. What an amazing story and building! We got there early so we could walk around the church before mass. We stayed for the short history lesson and tour of the church. We have been in many churches in the United States and in Europe... More
