First, let's state the obvious - the building is ridiculously pretty. Bring a camera, you're going to want to drool over it later. And moving on. So. We decided that we wanted to take a tour of the library and turned up a bit before...More

This is one of the loveliest libraries I have seen, inside and out. They have kept the history alive in the building and it still functions as a modern library. They have special displays also, making it a mini-museum. At the time of my visit...More

Recently went on a tour of the library. I was with a walking group but individuals can also arrange for a tour of the facility. With the docent, you got lots of facts and information - it was very interesting.

My family of four (two daughters, ages 11 & 9) made a quick stop at the Central Public Library after our afternoon visit to City Museum. I think it is absolutely worth it from an architectural and historical perspective. The building was renovated in 2012...More
