Best Custard in Missouri

First, if you say this place isn't good, you haven't been there and you lied. I grew up in Saint Louis and hence grew up on Ted Drew's. It's a Saint Louis icon, what can I say. If... read more

First, if you say this place isn't good, you haven't been there and you lied. I grew up in Saint Louis and hence grew up on Ted Drew's. It's a Saint Louis icon, what can I say. If you visit the city for a baseball game, you just have to go here afterwards. I've seen people come from across the... More

I "only" give this review 4 out of 5 stars because it's actually not my favorite custard. However, because it is an event to go there, even on a chilly December evening, and they still have The Great Pumpkin, my wife's favorite, I still rate it extremely high. My wife says "the only time to go to Ted Drew's is... More

We stopped by here on the way to Louisville. It was a little out of our way but boy, was it worth it! Best frozen custard Hands down. Long lines but we didn't have to wait very long. Try the Crater Copernicus!!!!!

Always a must visit when in St Louis. I've had custard at other places but this is some of the best. So many choices it's hard to decide.

There are a lot of Frozen Custard shops around these days. Each place has their own recipe and most are very good. I don't mind driving to Ted Drewes to support an old iconic business. They've made it work for a long time and I haven't been disappointed yet.

Best custard period with lots of great combinations like apple pie custard or Strawberry Shortcake. There's a whole dizzying list of choices. Most locals end up with a favorite they stick to. The crowds wait in long lines that move quickly. Must try if you're visiting STL. Always a policeman nearby to keep things in order.

I heard about this place on the today show and I had to find it. It wasn't hard to find and the parking lot was small but people were coming and going. This is located on the old Route 66 road. There was a line out side the windows where you place your order. They also have a large menu... More

What's not to like about this St. Louis frozen custard favorite. Enough choices for everyone, and a 60 cent cone for toddlers or those who just want a taste. Exceptionally friendly service.

We stopped by here on our way down Route 66 to try the "concretes". We arrived before they opened and no one seemed to be around, but right when the "open" sign came on, people seemed to come out of the woodwork to get some famous frozen custard. Stop by here, you will NOT be disappointed.
