Youi don't need to be Catholic to appreciate this....

But if you are Catholic you need to see this place! Take the tour - learn the history. The small museum in the basement is very interesting as well.

Please take advantage of the hour tour. The information given is amazing as well as the ability to sometime move those red velvet ropes. Our tour guide was Dee and she was just wonderful. The church is breathtaking in every aspect. Wish the gallery was open to the public but I understand the liability as to why it is not.

The cathedral us so worth a visit. Easy to park and you just walk right in. Worth calling ahead to ensure there is not a special mass or event taking place when you want to visit.

Very ornate cathedral. So many mosaics. This is a wonderful spot for quiet reflection. Be sure to get a guide from the entry way that gives more insight into the different mosaics.

This place is amazing. It has over 83000 square feet of mosaic tile and the rest of the church is beautiful. I would recommend going on a weekday afternoon because it's very uncrowded

I am not sure what it would cost to build this place but it would be a lot. I was blown away how beautiful this place was. The marble, the cut glass and was just amazed. I thought it would be a 10 minute stop and I spent over an hour at this place just looking at the architecture. We... More

The mosaic displays are all so elegantly beautiful. The Basilica is huge and can seat hundreds of people.
