Stopped by the courthouse to purchase a ticket to see the Arch. Drat! I left my America the Beautiful pass at home. Could have saved $3. Interesting history here.

We walked through here to get out Gateway Arch tickets and visit the gift store. It was nice, but we didn't stay long. Lots of pictures on the walls.

A view of the Courthouse describes in great detail how before the Civil War, how badly the judiciary handled the issue of slavery. It is a must-see for students of all ages to see this shameful period in our history. The galleries and restored courtrooms...More

The Old Courthouse has beautiful architecture! It is well maintained, and the history provided is great. I noticed some of the displays were in need to refreshing. The "rotunda" of the building is beautiful, and displays are awesome.

Just right to kill some time before going up the arch. Beautiful building with some amazing history. Loved the old court rooms. Take the stairs allll the way up and enjoy the view down! The clear version of the courthouse was pretty neat too.

One could feel the presence of history and the heart wrenching conditions in place back then. There have been improvements, but we have a ways to go yet.

Parking isn't cheap. I don't know about street parking/meters, but the ramps can be expensive. Weekends may be cheaper (at least they are in Minneapolis), but I don't know about St. Louis. I'm sure there is a web site for... More
