The Arch is still open, but the area around the arch is under construction. Don't let that deter you there is still a lot going on and it is still worth the visit.

Old court house where Dred Scott case was heard, really neat dome cathedral, history of st Louis, Lewis and Clark, a short walk from arch and part of National park system so as always a ranger talk is highly advised. Talk and courthouse are free.

Went to see the St. Louis Arch and was surprised by the Museum. Going to the Arch, make sure to have a little time to walk through and enjoy it. It was an easy walk around and many things to see. Kids would love it.

The history of westward expansion was displayed nicely in a historic setting. The displays are very brief. Great paintings, illustrations and artifacts to admire. The old courthouse setting is unique as well. The videos, maps, Lewis & Clark were fun to look at. The employees...More
