We did not go in the museum, but did look at all the houses in the vicinity....we really enjoyed the architecture and were in awe of the massive size of these dwellings--it was almost like every house was trying to outdo the next!

Robidoux Row provides some insights into life in St. Joseph when the city served as a busy hub for pioneers heading westward.

Fortunately, this structure was saved from the highway cutting through years ago. The museum now gives a very good look into the founder and early days of St. Joseph and the surrounding area. It has a good collection of artifacts and does not take too...More

While visiting St. Joseph we visited the Robidoux Row Museum and had the pleasure of the Executive Director giving us a guided tour. It was a very educational and informative look at the founding of the city of St. Joseph. The museum was chock full...More

A true diamond in the rough. Very limited hours of operation, but well worth the effort, when considering there is only one employee, who is the Director, curator, historian, housekeeper, and tour guide, all rolled into one. We were impressed by her knowledge and her...More

This is a unique historic structure built by the founder of Saint Joseph. He was a French Trapper and rented "rooms" to fellow trappers and MO river travelers. Closed til spring.

It was a bit tricky getting there, but GPS to the rescue. The building is in very good condition outside and the "backyard" area was lovely and charming. The museum was closed when we drove and stopped outside. The brochure suggests it is a very...More

We did a drive by with a tour guide and didn't get to see inside. The row is significant because it was kept from being destroyed and the building is one of the older in St. Joseph.

It's a small museum but interesting. I like it when the curators are passionate about their places. It doesn't get many visitors but they are appreciative. Interesting story behind the place.

Great history of trapping, fur traders who settled the area and so much to see. It's an unpretentious museum in a not so great neighborhood but is a must see! We thoroughly enjoyed the artifacts, tour guide and exhibits in such a relaxed atmosphere!
