Here you can walk around the beautiful state park, feed fish, they have BBQ pits, pavillions, playgrounds for the kids and ball courts. Wonderful place to spend the day or even for a lunch time picnic.

This place has such a relaxed feeling to it that you forget outer world and just embrace the beauty of nature. They also have a museum showing how life was during the 1800s in the area.

We visited today, 6/19/17, and the park was not crowded. It was very peaceful watching the fish and walking to the spring. Enjoyed watching the fishermen and the sparkling water.

A great place to get away. So nice to be here. I live in Colorado where everyone has to be outside and crowd all the parks and trails. There are little gumball machines to dispense cat food pellets to feed the glutton fish. 25 cents...More

I was excited to visit this place and definitely not disappointed! The $5 per car charge was well worth the day..Drove the historic drive first and saw beautiful woods and humble old cemetery. We then parked and walked with the dog through many trails and...More
