We've visited Three Squirrels winery 2 times. Their wine is yummy and even though there is not hundreds of varieties - they have a great selection of whites and reds and dessert wines that are tasty! The location is a quaint stop, there is outside seating to relax and enjoy time with family/friends. The owner is fun to chat with... More

Visited this winery on a Friday afternoon. Very surprised to see the art on the wall. Not to mention my wife and I felt like this winery has the best tasting wine if the handful of vineyards on the area. We did not use the sitting area, but it looked clean and well taken care of.

Saturday night, looking for a place to go. We decided to return to the place where my daughter was married. Like a good wine, the place has gotten better with age. This night they were hosting a fund raiser which made it all the more interesting. Sitting on their second floor, which is a covered veranda, and totally enjoyed the... More

Three Squirrels is the most sophisticated of the three wineries on Route B in St. James. It's actually out in the countryside, so has a different ambiance from the ones in town. We did a standard tasting flight from drier to sweeter and were told that the 2 sweetest dessert wines represent about 50% of the business. We tried the... More

For anyone who resides in Missouri or is passing through Missouri, Three Squirrels Winery is a must see attraction. The blends of fine wine are outstanding, and to finish that off, the gallery is filled with fine art. Non-alcoholic beverages are available for those who chose not to taste.

Yes, Scamper (the cat, and according to the owner, the chief of operations) greeted us when we arrived in the second-floor tasting room/art gallery. She loves to explore purses, so if you have one you don't want rifled, keep it closed tight and away from Scamper! Nice selection of Three Squirrels wines at the tasting bar - a pretty heavy...
