This winery is off the beaten path and not trendy but has a charm that shouldn't be missed. Heinrich was a delightful man who told us about the wines. We prefer sweet wines and he only had dry and semi dry wines, but he still...More

If you are looking for a modern day wine bar with AC and cushy leather seating for you and your yuppy friends don't bother. BUT if you want excellent wine and a winemaker who is knowledgeable about his craft, confident of his product and willing...More

Wonderful. I first found Heinrich House ~ 10 years ago when I started enjoying Missouri wines. It's a 500 mile trip, but I make it once or twice a year to stock up. My favorites are the Prarie Rouge and Cynthiana. Wonderful dry wines that...More

Heinrich is our favorite person to see when we come to Missouri. His wines are great and his knowledge is exceptional. Don't let the looks deceive you....Heinrich built this winery himself and makes his wine with so much love. Enjoy the experience!!!

Such a gem of a winery. Worth the trip into the woods. Sweet German vintner with the best wine for miles. Go see him, you won't be disappointed.

Excellent winery to visit! It's a small place with great wine and the owner is wonderful. Hidden path, but well worth the trip!

You'll miss the driveway if you're not paying attention. Off the beaten path, good wines. Interesting German winemaker. Stepping into the tasting room was like going back in time. Many things sitting untouched for years. Many things haven't been updated (not that they need to...More
