Positive experiences The drive was was tremendous. It is so unique and different. Friendly people. Be adventurous! You do not need to take the entire perimeter loop . We went half way 3 hours and turned back around.

With the golds, oranges and occasional reds, the farms, the immaculate roadside homes and yards and of course, Perce, 3 days or more driving around the peninsula are so very worthwhile.

A few years ago, National Geographic listed the Gaspé peninsula among the top 10 travel destinations in the world. By that time, we had already made it a tradition to visit every year, so it was easy for us to understand why it was given this notable distinction. When coming in from Quebec City, traveling along the majestic St. Lawrence... More

Hi: We have just finished doing the Gaspe Loupe (for the second time) and I have to tell you that it is one of most scenic costal highways in North America. We have been fortunate enough to have traveled many magnificent highways; including the 101 in California and this road stacks up well with them all. It's a thrilling ride... More

We toured the peninsula starting from Campbeltown NB heading northeast on Baie de chaleurs all the way to Matane and across back to Campbeltown. We stopped at a few rivers looking to catch some salmon. No salmon to be caught but we had a great time. A trip of a life time. Breath-taking views at every turn. The whole gets... More
