Great place for a snack and coffee

The club house is a lovely old building which serves coffee in china cups and light lunches. It is located next to the cemetery.

Had my first ever lunch here with a friend. We sat outside overlooking the golf course and the ocean and ate rice paper wraps that were to die for; absolutely beautiful, washed down with a cider from the bar.

What a great little competition, the location is awesome, and its a great little 9 hole course. Husband is a happy little camper at the end of it all, final nights fish fry was fantastic, many thanks to all the locals involved.

We didn’t play, but dropped in for lunch on the balcony. The food was ok … the service was a little slow … but the view from the balcony overlooking the course (with the sea in the background) was fantastic. My salt and pepper squid was good (but the chips were ordinary). My wife’s open steak sandwich was very tasty,... More

Husband played 9 holes and loved it, despite it being a stinking hot day. So for the golf I rate this very pretty course as Excellent. We went there twice for refreshments - first time for cold drinks, second time for lunch. Should have stuck to the drinks. The outlook from the verandah of the convict-era building is stunning, and... More

My husband recently played golf here and loved the course! The course is located within the world heritage site of Kingston and is a very picturesque 9 hole course, with great views looking out to the ocean. If you want to play 18 holes, just go around again. The short par 3 overlooking the ocean can be very interesting, especially... More

Unfortunately didn't get to play the 9 holes, would have loved to get out there for a hit. A very picturesque course, a credit to the greenkeeper(s). Instead we called into the club rooms for a look and a lunch. Nothing was a problem, soon had a nice bowl of fries and a couple of beers in hand. Big competition... More

Thanks for the review. Yes, it's a great place to stop in for lunch - whether you play golf or not. We have just finished the tournament you were referring to (The Hardys Wines Pro-Am Golf Classic) and it was a huge week with the golf course full all week. Hope to see you again on Norfolk Island. This 9 hole course on this historic and beautiful island is a must do for golfers, and a great introduction to any who would like to be golfers. The course is well maintained, links style, with enough Norfolk Pines to make it interesting. The beautiful par 3 next to the beach is worth returning to. A cool drink on the... More

I'm not a golfer, but had a thoroughly enjoyable morning playing at being a caddy for my husband, who is. My husband is a huge driver (about 300m) and there are a couple of holes that provide that opportunity, as well as another few that are pretty challenging. It's only 9 holes (which was perfect for us on the day),... More
