I have fished, eaten and stayed at the state park on numerous occasions for probably 30 years or more. It is a very good park for trout fishing although the fish are typically small here probably because of the fishing pressure. Always plenty of people....More
Bennett Spring State Park in south central Missouri, is a great family friendly park, have been there dozens of times. There are numerous trails from 1/2 mile to almost 8 mile roundtrips, and everything in between. Several playgrounds and picnic areas, with grills and pavilions....More
After being spoiled at Roaring River State Park, I was disappointed with Bennett Springs. The showers never have hot water, always messy and nasty bugs everywhere in the bathroom from not being cleaned. Trout fishing not as good and camping sites need trees cut back...More
Not interested in fishing but enjoyed a 3 day,2 night stay. Accustomed to camping closer to water for granddaughters to play in. Inconvenient access to water is a drawback. Enjoyed the scenery and some hiking. Not likely to return soon.

I'm not sure I can answer that accurately so you may want to call Bennett Springs directly at 800-334-6946. It is not long though and is readily accessible with motor homes and 5th wheels if that is your concern.
