Overview
More
The valley that cradles Bennett Spring has created a place of peace and recreation that has welcomed generations of enthusiastic anglers. Bennett Spring State Park is one of Missouri’s earliest state parks and continues today to attract fishermen and nature lovers seeking to make new memories. More than 100 million gallons of clear, cool water gush from Bennett Spring each day and form a spring branch stocked daily with rainbow trout waiting for lucky fishermen. Fishing may be the main draw but the park also offers many other amenities such as a dining lodge, campgrounds, cabins and hiking trails. Whether you are a traditional fishing enthusiast or someone seeking a place to relax and refresh, Bennett Spring State Park has what you need to make every trip one to remember.

Fishing was good, but there is always a ton of people there. I like to find a place where nobody else is...but that's hard to do in a trout park.

The campground is on the baitwater and is lacking shade. The 'fly only' section of the water is full of people throwing marabou jigs on ultralilght rods...I guess it's how you read the sign. I saw one conservation agent driving around at the stop whistle,...More

The Park has been well maintained and improved over the years. I've visited many times since my youth 50 years ago. Newly added camping sites close to the stream are a big improvement. A day trip just to watch the fishermen and filling the lungs...More

I'm not sure I can answer that accurately so you may want to call Bennett Springs directly at 800-334-6946. It is not long though and is readily accessible with motor homes and 5th wheels if that is your concern.
