The kids will have great fun looking at the trout hatchery, and the fishing can be good. At the Bennett Spring is very interesting to see the thousands of gallons of water coming up to feed this spring from an underwater cave.

We have been to this park 20-30 times. Granddaddy of Missouri trout parks. Some of the architecture is from 1930s with WPA work. Fun, family spot: Hiking, nature center, swimming pool. Eat in the lodge or picnic. Ask for help to figure out zone fishing....More

Perfect place to go for a hike!! This is the spring that the Niangua River begins from. Known for excellent trout fishing. Has a trout hatchery on site.

It's a very pretty place but except for the river and fish and scenery, there isn't that much to see. It's quiet and out of the way and a good place if you want a picnic.

I'm not sure I can answer that accurately so you may want to call Bennett Springs directly at 800-334-6946. It is not long though and is readily accessible with motor homes and 5th wheels if that is your concern.
