Overview
More
The valley that cradles Bennett Spring has created a place of peace and recreation that has welcomed generations of enthusiastic anglers. Bennett Spring State Park is one of Missouri’s earliest state parks and continues today to attract fishermen and nature lovers seeking to make new memories. More than 100 million gallons of clear, cool water gush from Bennett Spring each day and form a spring branch stocked daily with rainbow trout waiting for lucky fishermen. Fishing may be the main draw but the park also offers many other amenities such as a dining lodge, campgrounds, cabins and hiking trails. Whether you are a traditional fishing enthusiast or someone seeking a place to relax and refresh, Bennett Spring State Park has what you need to make every trip one to remember.

We spent about an hour there and enjoyed the visit. We aren't fishermen, but enjoyed the park and the information presented. Ate dinner at the lodge which was a good experience... nice and convenient. Our state parks are treasures and should be visited!

We fished here for three days with kids. It's a nice park with lots of easy access for picnicking and fishing.

This is a trout farm, and a place to go fly fishing. Very quiet and peaceful. Even if you don't fish, it's a peaceful setting, and a nice place to take a walk or just enjoy a leisurely afternoon and a picnic. Dog-friendly. Dogs are...More

Bennett Springs State Park is a cool and mostly quiet haven where one can have some quiet time and enjoy some beautiful scenery and classic depression-era stone construction. The fishing is enjoyable, but unless you like crowds, don't go on March 1, which is the...More

I have fished, eaten and stayed at the state park on numerous occasions for probably 30 years or more. It is a very good park for trout fishing although the fish are typically small here probably because of the fishing pressure. Always plenty of people....More

After being spoiled at Roaring River State Park, I was disappointed with Bennett Springs. The showers never have hot water, always messy and nasty bugs everywhere in the bathroom from not being cleaned. Trout fishing not as good and camping sites need trees cut back...More

I'm not sure I can answer that accurately so you may want to call Bennett Springs directly at 800-334-6946. It is not long though and is readily accessible with motor homes and 5th wheels if that is your concern.
