We stay in campground 1 with full hookups. It's a close walk to fishing. This is an exceptionally clean park all the way around. (campground, shower houses, etc) We usually stay here in the summer and thought we'd take advantage of such a warm early March weekend.

I read poor reviews about this place online but was pleasantly surprised that they were out of date. Very clean campsites. Fantastic river for trout fishing. All the amenities you could ask for.. Coming back for a week or longer soon as spring arrives. Highly recommended by DrJohn. Itinerant computer geek, fly-fisherman and photographer.

Some of the best trout fishing in the nation! For the amount of commercialization and the number of people here you surprisingly still see a lot of wildlife. I've seen bald eagles, golden eagles, snakes, muskrats, beavers, etc. In the evening after fishing hours it's not uncommon to see large herds of deer move into the park and start grazing... More

We always have a great, affordable meal at the lodge. We have enjoyed watching the fly fishing and listening to the waterways. It is a great place for families and couples. We enjoy it even when it gets a little colder.

We love the beauty and peacefulness of this park. The people at the store and who take care of the cabins are wonderful and you mean the nicest people while fishing. We stayed in one of the new spring cabins and it was great. Beautiful rooms with an amazing view of the spring. Love the hooks for waders outside and... More

Most of the physical infrastructure of Bennett Spring State Park was built of native stone during the Depression, and retains a classic, graceful feel. As the beautiful stream winds its way towards the Niangua River, it provides good, cold water habitat for trout. Yes, the conservation department stocks trout; no, it's not like shooting fish in a barrel. The park... More

Just spent two nights RV camping in the park. Campground one is open. Electric is on at sites, no water at sites but spigot by bathroom was on. One shower open ( hot water) but no heat. The bathroom right next to shower room is open with heat and hot water in sink... Was clean and stocked despite no camp... More

Beautiful park, nice trails, camping, cabins, fishing. excellent restaurant. Feels like you are a million miles away, but actually you are only a few miles from a bustling town on the interstate. Great place to get away and relax whether it be for a day or a week.
