We stopped here on a road trip from OKC to St Louis, it was exactly what we hoped for. We did the cave tour (about 90 mins), it was a beautiful way to get out and stretch our legs. The cave wasn't too strenuous, but did have a few really steep inclines/declines. Our tour guide was Keegan; he was kind,... More

We started with the 1.5 hour tour of Cathedral Cave, which was good. Very active cave with lots to see. About 45 minutes in they take you down a very steep decline, which you go back up later - it would have been good to know this takes you to Cathedral rock. We then did the Onondaga Cave tour, which... More

So glad to see that you had a great tour and that Scott was so helpful. You toured on the last day of our open season. We will be opening again for the 2017 season on April 14. We hope to see you again and thanks for recommending us to others. Currently open though is our campground and the main... More

Took the 1 1/2 hour tour with a great guide who was very informed and friendly. Some slight inclines and declines in the walking but the path is excellent with handrails in appropriate places. Loved the formations in the cave. If you enjoy caves Onondaga will not disappoint, if you have never been in a cave this is worthwhile visit.

One of the best caves I've been to! You get to walk in the cave on a guided tour for an hour. Onondaga Cave has some of the best features I've seen!

The guided tour took more time than we thought. The group was very large. The walking paths are narrow and filled with enclines. Make sure you have hiking shoes for this. The tours should be in smaller groups. Too many people trying to take pictures and slowing the tour down. My husband and I enjoyed it overall.

From start to finish we all enjoyed this experience. It's a fairly long tour and there are a lot of stairs to go up and down, but it's well worth it. The guide knew many details about the property disputes and history of the mine's ownership which added flavor to the experience. However, of course, Mother Nature always steals the... More

Went here with my 6 year old son and hoped it would keep his attention. I shouldn't have worried. This cave is pretty spectacular. It has a well made walking path that looks like it would be slick but isn't and a good handrail along the entire path. Mitchell our guide did a great job. The tour took over 1.5... More

We visited Onondaga cave on the first Saturday of the month, which meant in addition to all of the normal offerings, we got to watch hummingbirds being caught, banded, and released, which was a real treat. We took our almost 6-month-old baby with us on the cave tour after asking if it was suitable for babies and being encouraged to... More

I took my children and my niece and nephew, ages 18, 13, 10, and 6. We hiked in the park, toured the cave, had a picnic, then panned for gems/fossils from bags purchased in the cave gift shop. We all had a wonderful time. I would recommend hiking early, then cooling off in the cave like we did. The park... More
