I thought this was going to be boring and holy cow it was scheduled for 40 minutes. We took our 3 grandchildren, ages 9, 5 and 3. I couldn't believe how fast our time went. The kids had a great time working on projects and discovering all kinds of fun science and arts activities. To my surprise, 40 minutes was... More

We went to Kaleidoscope on our last visit to KC with kids 5, 7 & 10. This is was so awesome. The kids all enjoyed making art. Favorites were the dark black light painting with melted crayon wax and the puzzle maker. I wish the time slot was longer but next trip we will go back again.

This was the perfect place for our kids. So much fun to use all the great paper & art supplies to have a wonderful time making crafts. It was so organized and easy to do with small children. The staff were friendly and truly seemed happy to be there to help. Thank you Hallmark for a great (and free) opportunity!!!

We visited Kaleidoscope with kids ages 6, 9 and 12. Pick up free tickets for the time you want to enter, and once inside, your children can wander from project to project. There are drawing tables, paint sections, a place to color your own puzzle and allow the machine to cut the pieces, a black light area with glowing markers,... More

We visit Kaleidoscope with our kids whenever we go to Kansas City. It's pure creativity, with enough activities that the kids never get bored. It isn't cheap, they don't skimp on materials, and it doesn't feel beat up, even though I'm sure a lot of kids go through there. Best of all, it's free (and they validate your parking).

Went with 3rd graders on a field trip. It seemed some stations weren't manned and some kids ended up spending more time at them and didn't get to do some others.

It's obviously been quite a while since I've been here, but I remember everything and what fun it was - all of the different projects, the smell of crayon wax.... Plus, you can't beat free!
