This historic district is fine but really limited. You can check it out when visiting the museums since they are side by side then get some BBQ nearby. Worthwhile regardless.

We were in the 18th and Vine area when we went to see the Jazz Museum and Negro Baseball Museum. There are a few shops and restaurants in the area. Nothing big enough to make it worth a separate visit though.
