Super assortment of food options for most any palate. Most have very limited indoor seating but all have tables under a covered area outdoors. The smells are wonderful. We visited during the outdoor farmers market on a Sunday so not sure what the area looks...More

Really, really enjoyed this old revitalized market area. The Architecture is great to look at, and there's an abundance of shops, restaurants, and booths selling all sort of products. It's open Saturday and Sunday, and I would suggest going early in the morning and trying...More

Highly recommend City Market. So many fresh vegetables, flowers plus crafts. Bulk spices and excellent lunch choices. Parking can be a challenge. Definitely will go every time in Kansas City.

We went when there wasn't all the real fun of the farmers and other stands being up--it wasn't the weekend yet. Even with out them--we enjoyed the visit with the regular stores/booths. The benyeh ( spelled wrong ) was worth the visit alone.

This market is a nut door market with shops around the outside. They have many food options and healthy drinks. It much gf around the area. Fun place to walk through. The free tram from Union station made it easy to get there.

Yes, during the week one side of the area will have lots of fruit and vegetables to choose from, while most of the other shops will be closed. Prices weren't any better than the supermarket for what I wanted, but of course... More

As a local, I can tell you the farmers market part is absent on Mondays. And, although the perimeter shops and restaurants are open 7 days a week, most of those shops are going to pick Monday or Tuesday as their "closed... More

The perimeter shops are open year round. Of course, Saturday's April - October is the best time to go, but don't let that stop you. Plenty of shops, restaurants, history and views of the river to keep you busy for a... More
