We love traveling this trail as a family. Great for walking, biking or jogging! The area close to Zora, both north and south, will have ample amounts of shade. You can park near St. Louis and Zora for an easy entrance point!

The bridge over Turkey Creek is probably the most scenic part of the trail. It is essentially a long walk through the woods. It's nice and well shaded.

A reclaimed rail Way this trail has been repurposed for walkers, runners or trail bikers. Literally cross the entire town using the same route as former trains. Interesting location for exercise or sight seeing. Have plenty of time, not a one hour experience.

This is a crushed gravel trail that was once part of the San Francisco-St. Louis railroad. It is completely flat. The crushed gravel surface makes it easy on the joints. I was there on a Saturday in March and there were quite a few people...More
