One of the prettiest Capitols. Museums, artwork and more inside. Grounds are beautiful.Every year the Jefferson City High School Choirs sings in the rotunda on the circular stairs. People come very early to get seats. Thomas Hart Benton murals are in the Missouri State Capitol.

What an amazing state capitol. Everything about it was beautiful. The grounds are very well kept, the inside was clean, the people were friendly. I have ranked this as my number one state capitol we have visited.

The volunteer tour guides provide an excellent introduction to the Capitol and its progenitors. Our guide, Henry, provided an excellent overview of the Capitol and some of its highlights. I only wish there were a longer tour with more information.
