All very olde and twee, with gift shops both sides of the main street. Apparently the oldest bridge and Catholic Church in Australia there too. A pleasant stroll for an hour.

Richmond is worth the day trip from Hobart. The bridge is stunning & very photogenic. Then you must stay to explore the shops!
This is a beautiful place to visit and coming from a Richmond in England for us a must ! It is a spectacular structure and the area around the bridge allows for many different views. Good picnic site and enjoy feeding the ducks. But sad...More
love the history behind the bridge. the bridge, together with the Richmond town is a lovely place to visit for its peacefulness and the hint of heritage.
A perfect spot to visit and enjoy the architecture and the amazing view of both the bridge and the river. Ample parking, and the lawn is the ideal spot to sit and make the most if the sunshine . very relaxing.
