We took the trolley to tour the wineries. They were all great. The tour at Stone Hill is a must do. Our guide was great. Hermannhof has great wine, food and a great view of downtown Hermann. Our favorite was Oak Glenn Winery. The view is amazing!

We visited the Hermann Wine Trail on a warm day in March! We rode the trolly, which is well worth the $20 a person charge. Had a great time and enjoyed some good wine...

Great weekend trip for couples. Wineries were great as well as the Hermann architecture and culture. Go to Herman Wurst Haus in the way as a stop for lunch in between wineries!

I have been here a few times. The wine leaves a lot to be desired. But the scenery is pretty and most wineries are quant.

Hi Tracey, Thanks for your review and nice comment about our scenery. We are so sorry you did not enjoy the wines on the Hermann Wine Trail. We grow hybrids (Chambourcin, Vignoles, Vidal, Seyval, Traminette) and Native American varieties (Norton, Catawba, Concord) because of our winter climate. We can not grow Vinifera grapes (Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Riesling) because of... More

This was our first time to Hermann and we found it to be charming. I mapped out the winery locations online to plot the itinerary order. We started at Adam Puchta and it was hard to top that place. It was our favorite. If you want more wine at a particular location, you can buy additional tastings. There were only... More

We went on the winter cheese & wine tour. We enjoyed our driver very much and had a fun time on the bus btwn. vineyards. Some owners/employees were friendlier than others. We were looking to learn new things & purchased wines from those that were willing to spend some time with us. My husband is not a big wine drinker... More

Great way to spend a day with friends. All 7 stops are in a close proximity so you can make all the stops in one day. The food is great, the wine is delicious and each winery is unique and beautiful. Highly recommend to couples or any group of friends looking for something to do.

We recently did the wine trail in November that featured 7 wineries. Each stop had a small amount of wine paired with a holiday-themed appetizer. The wines and appetizers offered varied greatly, so there's something for everyone. Our favorite stop was at Bias which included a hot apple-cider wine and turkey tetrazzini. Both were delicious. The wineries varied in their... More

Not sure if this is to review the Hermann Wine Trail trolley and wine tours or if it's to review the Wine Trail and the associated wineries.
