We've toured a few different caves. The trails are semi-narrow and very easily passable. This tour was different than others I have been on in that the tour guide encouraged us to touch and feel different parts of the rock. There is even a living...More

Maybe I'm biased, but last year we had a spectacular tour of the Mammoth Caves. This cavern wasn't as extensive, and that was all right. What bothered me was the tour guide. Claudia probably was going with the script that was provided, but I really...More

My wife and I have gone to other caverns/caves. This is totally different. We paid only for the Mark Twain Cave tour not the additional Cameron Cave. I expected the gift shop to have a lot more Mark Twain memorabilia which it does not. Guide...More

Why would anyone go to Hannibal as a tourist and not go there? Be sure to wear a light jacket as the cave stays at 55 degrees all year long. Stay close to the tour guide or you will never hear any of her interesting...More

We did Cameron cave and really liked it. This is not for everyone as there is no lighting and you bring flashlights to light the way. It is also very physical. Enjoyed the tour.

My husband and I walked through the Mark Twain Cave, and I am happy we took the time to stop. If you think you will be given a flashlight, map, and be left to your own devices to explore, that is not the case. However,...More

For history, this is an important cave. People nice, knowledgeable, however this cave has been severely abused, graffiti everywhere, no restrictions on touching the sides, a death sentence for this cave. For a novice cave visitor....all caves are not like this one. Most are cared...More

If the summer sun is unbearable or if you are just curious and a bit of an explorer, come in to these two caves. Cameron cave is a bit more expensive, but definately worth it. Mark Twain cave is a bit commercial, but still very...More

Jorden was our tour guide for the Mark Twain Cave tour and Darius was the Cameron Cave guide. They both did an excellent job with their tours. My kids and I had a great time. Bring a jacket - Mark Twain Cave was 52° and...More

The grandkids loved the tour of the Mark Twain Cave. We all found it very interesting and a nice way to cool down on a very hot day!

I work for the Mark Twain Cave Complex as the Marketing Manager. All tours are guided tours so anyone purchasing an "Adult Ticket," which would be 13 years or older, would be able to go on the tour without their parent or... More

At the Mark Twain Cave, you can also attend the show "Mark Twain "Live" (obviously an actor), which is quite entertaining; prices are $15 for adults and $7.50 for children (8-12). Adults get a $5.00 discount if you sign up... More

I would think so but we only did the Mark Twain cave. If you like to see caves that have bats in them then you would need to do the other cave tour as the Twain cave does not have them.
