Stephens Lake Park is fairly large, taking about 20 minutes to walk around the paved path surrounding it. Mostly open, there are wooded areas on the fringes. Excellent park for dog walks.

There is a nice paved trail around Stephens lake with a bridge through the middle of the lake. 3 playgrounds that my kids love to play on, in the past we have reserved a pavilion for birthday parties.

This is a family friendly park with great bike and walking paths. They also have several events there including art, dog, and music.

I love this park! It's the perfect size - it's not extremely huge, it's not small, either. You can do about everything just in one day. You can hang out at the splash pad, see some shows at the amphitheater (there's a schedule posted near...More

A very nice park to run in the evenings. In the middle of the park there is a navigable lake. On one side there is an area where you can gace a campfire. There are books you can borrow to read in what you are...More

I do not believe catfish is available in this lake. It would be blue gill, crappie, maybe small mouth bass.

Not here but I believe at Finger Lakes state park you can rent them! Finger lakes is a little bit north of Columbia but not far.
