We enjoyed the museum; it is simple, but interesting. You have to be willing to read. I found interesting the info about Native Americans in the area during the Civil War.

If you like history, and in particular Civil War History, then this is a great little museum. Located right in town with plenty of parking, it is well worth a visit.

The Musuem is small but is very nice. The staff is there to answer any question. They have a nice selection of ranging from clothes to guns to newspaper clipping. If you are a Civil War buff you should enjoy. The musuem is free of...More

One of the first land battles in a capsulized museum... a stop takes about one hour or less. Small inventory of artifacts.

A lot of information packed into this small museum. Greeted nicely by a kind gentleman who had answers to many questions. Worth the time to learn about this town.
