Tripadvisorā€™s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My husband picked out this show to take our kids to. I was a bit leary to how I would like a kung fu show, but I think I enjoyed it just as much as the kids did. We all were into every second of the show, and my kids thoroughly enjoyed it, and are still talking about it. The story line was so great, and the way the show is put together and acted out was genious. This is definitely a show that I would recommend for anyone visiting Branson. After the show, all the actors come out into the lobby and provide great photo opportunities. My kids loved it!!

The show is presented in a form of a narrated story with the performers showcasing their strength in the form of various kung fu moves. The show also has some beautiful and graceful dancers and very talented young guys somersaulting using their heads instead of their hands! It was simply amazing!

This show would be great for Vegas too!

We were so impressed by the talent of these performers. The show featured artists of different ages, and the children displayed amazing martial arts skills. The show told a story, like a ballet, but instead of dancing martial arts moves were utilized.

It was nice to see a show that was a bit different from the typical Branson offerings. The acrobatics are amazing and it is a wonderful story. We really enjoyed it.

"The Legend of Kung Fu is the journey of a young boy, Chun Yi (the pure one), who is apprenticed to learn the ancient art of Kung Fu. This story is told through the eyes of the young boy and his older Kung Fu Master. Along the way he overcomes obstacles, is distracted and ultimately achieves the designation of master."

The story is told through a cast of both adult and children Chinese actors that display amazing acrobatics, beautiful kung fu movements and a touch of modern (or is it ancient) dance and scarf acrobatics. There is a theme song that is hauntingly and beautifully sung primarily by a young actor at several points in the performance, but otherwise, not much dialogue. No need, however, as the message is generally quite clear.

The pace of the story is leisurely, inviting the audience into the harmony and balance that is the ultimate goal for the kung fu monks, while other movements explore the temptations and highlight the huge physical challenges they face.

Our 2 adults and 10-year old child enjoyed the show and took several pictures of cast members afterwards. We found it a unique gem, lovingly faceted in the Chinese culture.

Note: We opted only for the show and not for the dinner. Many of the local coupon books offer a $5 off coupon for adults which can be used at the ticket office.

This show was elegant and sophisticated. It reminded me of going to the ballet or the opera... except with fighting and gymnastics instead of dancing and singing... I would recommend it once to anyone. I am sure it is a hit or miss with audiences just like the ballet or opera. I will probably not go back, it was a one time thing for me, unless my grandson got really into marshal arts... then I would fly him to Branson just to see the show!
