Today was a rainy day so we were looking for indoor things to do. We found the mill. It was a great place. There were many craftsmen actually crafting. We could watch and see what they were doing. It was nice to support handmade crafts. There were many types of crafts, like painting, woodworking, sculpting, people making musical instruments, leather... More

We love shopping here when we visit Branson. They offer a wide variety of crafts and shopping. The store is super clean and well organized with a bright cheerful atmosphere. We had the pleasure of observing crafters at work which was very interesting. I was extremely pleased that we could take our little dog in with us instead of leaving... More

Junk, junk and more junk. When we arrived we counted cars.... 6 in the entire parking lot not including the quilt shoppe next door. We went inside and figured out why. There was a very talented woman painting in the back what will become a fabric print. Other than that it was horrible. If you are on vacation don't waste... More

Crafters can be observed creating and plying their wares in a variety of specialties. Highly skilled artisans, even wild west costumed leather specialist making gun belts and holsters. Something for everyone and pleasant staff top off the visit. Not as many filled booths as last time with lots of vacancies. Bubbles, bangles, trinkets and beads adorn the walls, and colorful... Very nice to have the Mill up and running again. The Express Clydesdales were there giving carriage rides and taking photos.

Gaylen Montgomery is a master craftsman with the scroll saw.. Not only did he teach technique (how), he included the reasoning (why) behind each one. I learned how to cut wood with a scroll saw and eliminate sanding! He also stresses the importance of using the correct blade for the job. I left with several small projects in hand and... More

I make a point of shopping here on every trip to Branson. Inside is set up with dozens of different stalls, but you put whatever you want in your basket and pay once at the front entrance. The ladies are friendly and do a good job of wrapping up your breakables to keep them safe. Lots of variety and good... More

Recently my wife and I paid our fourth visit to the Branson Mill. Conveniently located on Gretna Road (it's a great place to stop on the way to see "Moses" at the Sight and Sound Theater) it has just about everything in the way of crafts, seasonal décor and things for the home. I particularly like to browse through the... More

It is fun to look around but it is definitely a specialty shop with not something for everyone. Good to check out but just a quick trip.
